Pretty in Pink

I have two projects going on for Christmas.  One I can't show you yet because it's a very special gift.  I'll show you after I give it just in case the person reads this blog.  The other is this new ring I made yesterday!

It feels so 80s to me.  I guess it's the hot pink and the black.  It's so Madonna or Cyndi Lauper.

The pliers are because I had to pull the button hole off the back of the pink cloth button.  And yes, that's a Swell catalogue.  Does anyone else get Swell?  I love it!  It's a great blend of surf fashion and city fashion.  It was just on the table when I was taking pictures and I was to lazy to move it...

This ring is a gift for my brother-in-law's girlfriend.  She is very cute and I think she'll rock this ring well!  I think it's her style.

One last note.  I got my hair cut and colored yesterday!  It's much darker and looks amazing!  Hopefully I can get myself together and take a few outfit posts so you can see it.  I really do wear cool stuff that I want to show you guys!  I just need a photographer or a tripod or something.  Maybe I just need to not be lazy and figure it out myself!
